Rauman Seudun Katulähetys is a registered christian charity. The main goal is to offer new opportunities for change and recovery in Christian spirit for the people in most need.
Rauman Seudun Katulähetys maintains two day centers and supported housing units, as well as employment and education unit.
 

Spiritual work

Christian perspective is the foundation of our daily work.
There is a close collaboration with local churches in provision of a Christian program. This includes daily prayers, music activities and various events in Rauma district.

The future objectives

The main goal is to help and support families, individuals and their careers struggling with every day issues.
By intesifying work with the families, there's a good chance of preventing people from drifting away from social life and work.

Voluntary organisation

Rauman Seudun Katulähetys ry. is a voluntary organisation. The services are provided by qualified and professional staff and volunteers.
Rauman Seudun Katulähetys ry. works in collaboration with Rauma City, RAY( Finland’s Slot Machine Association), ELY-centre and Rauma's churches.

Evaluation

The operation and results of Rauman Seudun Katulähetys association are under constant evaluation. The development plan and qualitymanual are used to accomplish this.
Furthermore the evaluation is present in every day work, planning and decision-making. Evaluation is implemented by teams, executive group and board of directors. Communication with sponsor's and service buyers is ongoing.
